House(T3) Programs

DETAILS:
1. The emphasis of the House League Program is on fun, skill development, competitive team play, and sportsmanship.
2. Evaluation skates are conducted prior to the season. The ratings assigned during these evaluations are used to place each player on a team as part of a draft process that is required by the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA). This supports the intent to ensure that the teams are put together as even in ability as possible.
3. Ice time for games and practices are determined once the total number of teams have been established.
4. Teams often decide to attend additional hockey tournaments. This is at the discretion of the head coach and the parents to arrange. These added costs are borne by the teams.
5. Full equipment is required.
6. Jerseys and socks are provided by the NYHA.
7. Game Day participation, when applicable, is included (a fun hockey day at the NYHA)
